Through multi-pass filtration, the water and/or particulate can be removed form the
oil and thus extend fluid life. Oil is cleaned continuously, minimizing oil disposal costs
with ultra fine filtration.

Safety Valve Housing - Flow & Pressure Regulating Valve
To maintain a cleaner hydraulic system install the COMO off-line depth
type low pressure filter vessel directly to a high pressure system without exceeding
filter vessel pressure rating. The safety valve can be used safely with a 3,000 PSI
hydraulic system (5,000 PSI model available). The safety valve is easy to install and
provides excellent protection for all hydraulic applications. The valve will maintain a
maximum 60 PSI in the housing with constant flow for continuous contamination control.

Precise Simple Installation
Available with two
options:
1. The valve alone: ideal for retro-fitting existing hydraulic installations in the field.
Quick and easy to install on any hydraulic system. Ideal for remote mounted installation.
2. Valve mounted to COMO Housing: ideal for new installation, valve is
securely affixed to facilitate rapid installation.

Hydraulic Oil Recycling
Aging Phosphate Ester Oils...
Contamination is the major cause of oil breakdown and subsequent oleo strut and, or
retractable landing gear hydraulic failure. Particulate contamination and moisture provide
the environment for seal and o-ring degradation leading to leaks and bleed down, or a
catastrophic failure. Pump, actuator, valve seals and o-rings are vulnerable to dirt and
moisture contamination that is aggravated by temperature cycling. Malfunction is not an
option. COMO has standard and custom designed equipment for processing
Skydrol(R) hydraulic fluid that ranges from a single filter housing to larger on site
batch recycling systems. Cleaner than new oil is the goal. COMO Filtration
does not remove oil additives.
Filtration for Injection
Molding
Hydraulic fluid is used to transmit power, cool, seal and lubricate in the molding
process. As it is used and reused it begins to absorb contaminates such as metal, sand,
pipe sealant, flushing solution and even moisture. As these contaminates build up and pass
through the molding process problems will start to occur. Valves will start to stick,
orifices and ports will get blocked, seals will start to leak, and components will fail.
All of this will result in costly downtime and productivity loss. If you are experiencing
any of the following problems, you will want to consider a filtration system.
Sticking valves
Blocked orifices and ports
Leaking seals
Moisture in your hydraulic oil
Oxidation
Lower viscosity
Diminished additive performance
"New" oil contamination
Abrasion
Fatigue
Cavitation
Particles and moisture contamination does not mean that the hydraulic oil must be disposed
of and replaced. Through multi-pass filtration, the particulate and moisture can be
removed from the hydraulic oil and thus the life of the oil can be increased This can be
accomplished by using a COMO portable filtration system to go from reservoir to reservoir,
a stationary system to sit at each reservoir or a safety valve filter housing attached to
the injection molding machine.
Hydraulic Press Oil
Recycling
Contamination is a major cause of oil breakdown and hydraulic press failure.
Particulate contamination and moisture provide the environment for hydraulic ream seal and
o-ring degradation leading to leaks and unscheduled down time. Pump, actuator, valve seals
and o-rings are vulnerable to dirt and moisture contamination that also upset a
preventative maintenance effort. Malfunction is not an option.
COMO has standard and custom
designed equipment for hydraulic press operations that ranges from a single filter housing
to larger on site bypass recycling systems. Cleaner than new oil is the goal. COMO
Filtration does not remove oil additives.
