Sand & Media Filters
 Everfilt manufactures a full line
of media and multi-media filters for the removal of suspended solids, turbidity, and many
dissolved substances found in water supplies and wastewater. Everfilt has created a line
that can be used for industrial and municipal wastewater treatment. Other uses include:

Capacities are from 5 GPM to 14 MGD with solids removal to 2 microns. Over 50 dissolved
substances can be removed. Chemical injection packages, settling/clarifying tanks, and
disinfection units are also available. Units are skid-mounted, factory assembled and
wired, hydro-tested, and delivered ready for installation. Piping, valves, pressure gauges
and accessories are included. Solar power, media air scour, and rinse cycle are
available as options. Systems are engineered to require little maintenance. A separate
source of water supply or a pump for backwash are seldom needed.

SAND MEDIA FILTER - SSM12
 LONG LASTING CONSTRUCTION
FOR SMALL APPLICATIONS
Everfilt has developed a sand filtration system that provides the same long
lasting trouble-free operation of the larger capacity sand filtration systems, yet
especially designed for your small application needs. The SSM12 filter system is
economical, low maintenance, and ideal for your small farm needs.
All-Stainless,
All-Welded Under drain - Everfilt pioneered the design of the radial hub stainless
steel under drain - and many other manufacturers have since followed our lead.
Everfilt's under drain is hydraulically
balanced to assure efficient collection of filtered water. The lateral collection screens
are matched to the natural flow of water through the filter. It also means that during
backwash, the filter bed is lifted uniformly and fully, thus achieving complete cleaning
and regeneration of the media.
The high strength profile wire screen
retains medias finer than No. 20 silica sand, thus eliminating the need for filter back-up
screens. The non-clogging characteristic of the screen makes it the most reliable
collection system available.
Everfilt is also the only manufacturer
whose under drain is all stainless steel construction and fully welded. The added strength
results in years of trouble-free, reliable operation.
