Industrial Filter Cartridges
All Polypropylene
Filter Cartridges
These replacement filter cartridges feature
the latest technology in filter media. Layers of melt-blown and spun-bonded polypropylenes
combine to produce nominal retentions from 0.1 micron to 30 micron. Polypropylene filters
feature popular end cap styles which fit most standard and sanitary style housings. Ideal
as low cost membrane prefilters, these high efficiency filter cartridges serve a wide
range of applications.

Microfiberglass
Filter Cartridges
Keystone Microfiberglass Filter
Cartridges the lowest cost alternative for many filtration applications
These filter cartridges are designed to provide the most economical solution for a wide
range of filtration problems. State of the art microfiberglass is layered with spun bonded
polyester to produce highly efficient particulate removal with extremely low pressure
drops. The pleated construction allows greater surface area than depth type cartridges
which translates directly into longer life.

Activated Carbon Filter Cartridges
Wound or Carbon Briquette Filter Cartridges
Two different designs offer a choice in carbon filtration. The three
micron nominal convolutedly wound cartridge features more finely divided carbon secured in
a fibrous matrix for greater adsorptive efficiency at a low cost. The ten micron granular
carbon cartridge features over eight ounces of highly activated carbon providing longer
life and high efficiency in the removal of unpleasant tastes and odors and chemical
contaminants.
MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION:
Filter Media: resin Impregnated Cellulose
3 MicronActivated carbon embedded in a matrix of natural and synthetic fibers,
layered with synthetic separating layer.

Giant Activated Carbon Block
Filter Cartridges
Carbon block filter cartridges provide extended life while removing
sediment, chlorine, taste, odor, and organic contaminants from water, aqueous solutions or
suspensions and many organic solvents.
Blue Giant Series
Blue Giant carbon block filter cartridges flow in the radial (outside-to-inside)
direction, providing increased flow at lower pressure drop than conventional granular
activated carbon (g.a.c.) filters. These cartridges will not channel or bypass due to the
extreme uniformity of their extruded carbon core and can be installed without
prefiltration because of their high dirt holding capacity.
MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION:
Filter Media: Fine mesh and spun bonded granular carbon in high integrity bonded
structure / End Caps: Polypropylene / Outer Netting: Polypropylene
NOMINAL MICRON RATINGS:
10.0

4-1/4" OD x 1" ID x Nominal 10" length
Giant Polypropylene &
Polyester Bag Filters
Keystones exclusive line of bag filters for our Giant housings have
a unique seal ring that ensures the most efficient means of bag filtration. All bags are
100% polypropylene or polyester with plastisol (PVC) seal ring and are available in micron
ratings from 1 to 200. Polyester bags are recommended for hot water/high pressure
applications. Keystone bags are available in the compact 10" length very
adaptable to side stream testing applications and the more versatile 20"
double length. Other bags may also be used in our housings. Contact us at 1-800-822-1963
for details.
Change out bags at 20-25 psid.
